HistoryFounded in 1900, Zion Baptist Church is located 2.9 miles from Hardyville, KY, nestled in the rural community of Rex. What to ExpectZBC is very much a "come as you are church." We embrace the entire Word of God to be true and strive to demonstrate that truth in our everyday lives. Our focus is on fulfilling the Great Commission by engaging others with that truth.
Our fellowship is blended with various ages and backgrounds. It is a casual atmosphere where the focus is on the heart, not a dress code or a perfect moral background. We welcome all with open arms. Our purpose is to always draw our focus upward by:

Our PastorI am not the typical Christian who grew up in church and saved at a young age. God allowed me to experience the pain of living apart from Him much longer than most. I grew up in Indiana and at the age of 19, I moved to Glasgow, KY which I have called "home" ever since. In 1985, I married my wife, Jennifer. In 2004, I received His grace, His mercy, and His gift of salvation. My life changed at that moment forever, and what a whirlwind it has been ever since!
Over the next nine years, I served in various teaching, couseling, and other ministry roles at my home church. In 2006, I felt God leading me to serve others by sharing His word. I immediately began preaching at various local churches while attending Boyce College in Louisville, a part of Southern Seminary. In 2013, I received a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies.
